About Spöngin Library

Come visit us!

Spöngin is our newest location. We put on lots of exhibitions at Spöngin and offer an exciting program of events for all ages: concerts, lectures, workshops, and more! The library has a diverse collection. We have newspaper subscriptions  and recommend reading the newspaper or latest magazines over a steaming hot cup of coffee in our bright room on the first floor. The coffee pot is always on!

The library is on two floors, with stairs and an elevator. On the first floor you’ll find the service and information desks, the children’s department, the teen department, and a selection of magazines, films, and music. On the second floor, you’ll find a variety of fiction and nonfiction books. The second-floor facilities are great for reading, studying, and learning, both near the big windows and in the private rooms. The two rooms on the second floor can be reserved for meetings by calling or emailing us! We provide free Wi-Fi and access to a computer and printer for a small fee.
