Genius Animals – An Interactive Non-Fiction Picture Book Reading

Sunnudagur 22. mars 2026

Which animal can smell underwater? Which animal has the longest ears relative to its size? Ever wonder why a cat’s eyes glow at night? Author Lena Anlauf has compiled the most exciting facts and stories about noses, ears and eyes from the animal kingdom, while illustrator Vitali Konstantinov introduces us to the individual animals in impressive portraits.

This collection of special species from around the world is celebrating the diversity in nature. It has been translated into eight languages, and has received numerous awards, including the International Youth Library's “White Raven” as well as distinctions such as the “Best German Book Design” and the German Children's Book Award.

Lena and Vitali will present their Genius Animals series with an interactive reading for the whole family and all senses. After the reading, anyone who wants to can draw their own super-ears-eyes-nose animal!
