Summer Workshop | Character Drawing

Illustrator Iðunn Arna guides children aged 9-12 in how to design fun characters for stories. We will go through the process; how a character starts as an idea and how it comes to life on paper. Participants learn to create character cards where they get to know their character better from several sides and then bring it to life for its  next adventure. Iðunn Arna is an illustrator who has illustrated the children's books Brásól Brella, Ævintýri Munda lunda, Hvuttasveinar and the book series Bekkurinn minn, which won the Reykjavík Children's Book Prize in 2023.

Age: Children born in 2011 2012, 2013 og 2014.  
Time: The workshop lasts for three days from 10 am - 12 pm.
