Freeshop in Gerðuberg | Opening

Welcome to the opening of the Freeshop in Gerðuberg. 

We will offer great music, chat and short speeches, eco friendly refreshments, along with a dash of joy and optimism. 

You can bring items to the Freeshop that you no longer need or take from the Freeshop something that is useful to you. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a nice tea pot, a flower vase, ice skates or a fun board game! 

You are also welcome to return broken light bulbs, batteries, candles, small electronics and broken porcelain to the special recycling boxes located in the Freeshop.

The Freeshop is an experimental project done in collaboration with Góði hirðirinn and the Office of Environmental Quality of Reykjavík.
