Freeshop | Round and Round

GIVE - TAKE - ROUND AND ROUND

In the Freeshop everything is for free. You can drop off things in good condition that you no longer use, and take home whatever you might need.

Please note that we do NOT accept the following.
We recommend Sorpa's Recycling Centers instead for:

• Clothes and shoes
• Vitamins and Medications
• Furniture: However, we do accept lamps and decorative items
• Hazardous Materials: For example, tar remover and various chemical substances that should be kept out of children's reach
• Cosmetics: Creams, shampoos, soaps and such
• Knives

What Can I Find in the Freeshop?

In the Freeshop, you can find various useful items. The selection changes from day to day and according to the seasons.

RECYCLING BOXES

The following items can be put in the Recycling Boxes:

The Green Library

Libraries are eco-friendly by nature. You borrow items and then return them to so other pepole can do the same. With the Freeshop, we are taking this a step further, in collaboration with the Office of Environmental Quality. We encourage our users to change their consumption patterns, visit the Freeshop regularly and take part in educational and fun events at Gerðuberg.
