K.óla is the solo project of Katrín Helga Ólafsdóttir. She has been performing with that project since 2017, both with a live band and solo. She has written pop-songs and made music for short films and theatre. K.óla studied composition in IUA and is now studying her masters degree in Music Creation in Copenhagen.
She will will perform unreleased songs in English and Icelandic at the library. Playing the electric bass and computer. Most of the songs are dealing with loss, not necessarily in a melancholic way.
