Everyone is welcome to The Reykjavík City Library Gerðuberg to celebrate the Library's 100th Anniversary!
All sorts of exciting things for all ages on the program, including a mystery game, music, dance, swap markets, crafts, guided tours and last but not least coffee, juice and of course birthday cupcakes.
Ongoing from 10:00 - 17:00
- Mystery game – a search for different characters...(in the library)
- Swap Market - exchange your clothes, toys and plants (1st floor)
- Poetry reading with artificial intelligence
- Selfie station - pose with various protagonists (1st floor)

Children's author Gunnar Helgason reads from his book Bannað að eyðileggja which takes place in the neighborhood of Breiðholt.

Crafts Workshop - old books are given a new life

100 year old books and electrical panel: a guided tour of the hidden secrets and storage facilities in Gerðuberg with the head of the department.

A dance performance from Brynja Pétur's Dance school

Musician Snorri Helgason will play a couple of songs
