Philippe opens Stofan | True Story
Philippe invites you to his opening of Stofan | A public living room on Tuesday March 28th at 16:00 on the second floor of the Reykjavik City Library Grófin (downtown).
"Let's seize the moment when information becomes knowledge. I've always been extremely intimidated by libraries as I feel overwhelmed by the mass of information standing before my eyes. It's all food for the brain but my heart isn't into it as I know I can't digest all of it. So, I seek knowledge over information, I take things as they come and let them live inside me and shape me as I grow. In French we have a word for that "connaissance" which literally translates as "with birth" or birth within, meaning an "information birthing within us". With this event I would like the participants to regain power over the cold mass of information; we'll tune in with ourselves to transmute pieces of information into knowledge."
