Artótek – Art for Rent and Sale

Artótek rents and sells art by Icelandic artists who belong to SÍM, The Association of Icelandic Visual Artists. The goal of Artótek is to promote contemporary Icelandic art and provide guests with simple options of renting and buying art. 

Artótek is located in Culture House Grófin and the pieces are rented or sold to the public or companies. Pieces are rented for between 2,000 to 15,000 ISK per month depending on the sale price. A renter can buy a piece at any point and the rent they paid will be deducted from the price. It is also possible to purchase a piece in full or in monthly instalments.
