What is better than fresh herbs and vegetables you grow yourself?

Growing your own herbs and vegetables doesn’t always require a lot of space, a small space by the kitchen window is usually more than enough. In February it is ideal to prepare what you would like to sow and grow this spring/summer. In Sólheimar City Library there is a good selection of seeds that you can come and grab, take home and grow your own herbs and plants. 

There is no need to sow a lot at any given time, so growers often end up with a bunch of seeds that they can’t use. Then it is ideal to bring them to the Seed swap market and let others enjoy them, and maybe you find some other seeds you would like to grow yourself.
