Wake up Spring | Sowing and Growing with Seljagarður

Are you interested in learning how to start growing vegetables from seeds? Then come to the library and get some great tips about the process.

We will also talk about how and when to plant them out in your garden or into pots on your balcony. 

Volunteers there from Seljagarður Urban Farm are hosting this event.

Please bring your own soil, trays and seeds.

It is worth looking through the Seed Library before buying your own seeds. The Seed Library is in seven different locations of the City Library.

This event is part of our Spring Festival in the Freeshop in Gerðuberg: Wake up Spring. We celebrate the cycle of nature and welcome you to various different events related to spring activities. The Freeshop in Gerðuberg is a free community space where all items are available at no cost. Visitors can bring items in good condition that they no longer need and take home things they do need.
