Course | Do you want to release music, but don't know where to start?

Unnur Sara Eldjárn shares her experience in publishing and marketing music.

Unnur Sara Eldjárn talks about all the important things you need to keep in mind before releasing a song or album. She will talk about copyright registrations, financing, distributors, marketing and other useful things.

The course is ideal for those who are taking their first steps as well as those who have some experience in publishing and want to get motivated and inspired.

Unnur Sara's lecture, which will last for about an hour, is free and open to everyone. Afterwards, questions and discussion will be opened. Participants will receive a free copy of Unnur Sara's Publishing Council, which can be found at www.wrapmymusic.is

The course takes place in the music department on the 5th floor of the City Library Grófin. Valgeir Gestsson, the department's specialist, will be present and those who want to find out what the library has to offer for music enthusiasts and/or check out the facilities at the Makerspace and in Kompan, the podcast studio, are welcome to do so before or after the course.
