Tengivirkið | Reykjavík Tool Library

Thursday, September 9th at 4 pm  Anna Worthington De Matos will tell us everything about Reykjavík Tool Library. A Tool Library allows members to check out or borrow tools, equipment and "how-to" instructional materials, functioning as a library would for books, with a membership, which allow members to take tools home for repairs, projects and hobbies.

The goal of the project Tengivirkið in Kringlan is to make it easier for young people, who have another native tongue than Icelandic, to participate in the society and build connections to the local community and each other. The group meets weekly in discussion groups and participates in an activity together. Participation is free of charge.
