See Your Beauty | Artist talk
Kristín Ómarsdóttir and Guðlaug Mía Eyþórsdóttir, curator, discuss Kristín's work on the exhibition See Your Beauty which was opened in Gerðuberg the 26th of October. There you can take a look at Kristín's work from various periods. Some of them have been hidden away in drawers for years, others are new.
The art exhibition is connected to a symposium about Kristín's work as an author, which was held in Tjarnarbíó in October. She has always worked on her works of visual art along with her writing, and sometimes the two hold hands rather tightly, as was discussed at the symposium.
It will be interesting to hear what Kristín and Guðlaug Mía, the curator of the show, have to say. The discussion will be in Icelandic, but we encourage everyone to show up and take part, if interested!
