- Coffee and cake.
Everyone Welcome!
Seljagarður was founded in 2014 by volunteers and residents of Seljahverfi and Breiðholt. In recent years, there has been a large increase in the number of growers and there are currently around 60 of them. This community garden offers the opportunity to grow indoors as well as outdoors. There is a lot on offer in the common spaces, growing beds with an abundance of rhubarb, mint and other herbs, a seating area around a fireplace and facilities for Seljgarð residents to grill and enjoy life. Please stop by Seljagarður to say hello and contact us if you are interested in becoming a part of this community garden. www.seljagardur.is
Everyone is welcome to bring some snacks and a blanket and sit on our cosy grassy green surface under some parasols.
Library Picnics:
We meet regularly in different city libraries and invite an organisation or group of people to host their picnic. The host chooses the snacks and topics of conversation. You can read more about our community picnics and find our full schedule HERE.
