Drop-in Workshop | Green Screen with Final Cut Pro

Learn how to use a green screen with Final Cut Pro! 

This open Drop-in Workshop introduces basic green screen technique using Final Cut Pro. Participants will learn how to film with a green screen and replace backgrounds to create stunning visual effects. After the workshop, there will be time to work on your own video project with help from the staff. 

The Grófin Makerspace provides free access to Apple Final Cut Pro on every Makerspace computer, as well as a workstation with a green screen backdrop. Drop in for a guided introduction to green screen editing, or book the green screen workstation to explore it on your own!

At Drop-in Workshops you can learn all sorts of skills and tools related to creative technology.  The Grófin Makerspace is fully equipped with a variety of industry-standard tools and software for video, music or audio editing. Drop-in Workshops are ideal for those who want to get started using these freely available programs and gear.

We introduce a new topic at each Drop-in Workshop every other Monday from 4:30pm–5:30pm. After the workshop, the Makerspace staff will be available to answer questions and assist with anything until 6pm.

No prior experience or registration is needed – just drop in!
