The Little Library visits the youngest departments of the preschools, chock-full of board books suitable for the youngest readers. With The Little Library, parents receive a letter from the Reykjavík City Library and encouragement to nurture literacy development.

The preschools will receive an invitation when it is their turn for the Little Library to visit them. The Little Library will stay at each preschool for one month at a time and will then return in a year to visit the next generation of new preschool children.

The Little Library project received a grant from the Library Fund.
