Winter break | Song workshop with Andrés
At the songwriting workshop, our goal is to create a song!
We will start from an idea and learn how to expand it and turn it into a complete song. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in songwriting and wanting a chance to work in a fun and inspiring environment.
We will be using the software programs Ableton Live and Logic.
Andrés Þór Þorvarðarson is a musician and teacher born in 1996. He completed his studies in composition at the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Master's in Arts Education at the same institution. He has extensive experience in songwriting and has been a part of bands such as Milkhouse, We Are Not Romantic, Skoffín, and has recorded songs with K.óla and Önnulísa. He has also composed music for the theater productions Pabbastrákar and Hvað ef sósan klikkar..

Time: The workshop runs for two days 19. – 20th of february at kl.13:00 – 16:00
