Information about the event
Freeshop | Santa's helpers
At the Freeshop, there will be a special area where you can bring small toys that would be ideal for the 13 santas to give children in there shoe: puzzles, pez calls, small cars, teddy bears or ornaments to hang on the Christmas tree. An ideal time for parents and children to go through toys together and decide what to give to Santa, to give to other children. A great oopportunity for children who donate their stuff to learn about the circular economy and environmental protection, and the Santa Clauses get donated stuff to pass on to children and then less trash ends up in nature.
The Santas are then invited to take whatever they think will be useful for shoe presents.
At the Freeshop in Gerðuberg, everything is free. You can go there when you need something or when you want to give away things you no longer need.
A few more eco-friendly shoe gift suggestions for the thirteen santas:
- Gingerbread house to assemble together and decorate.
- A flashlight to take with you on an adventurous evening walk
- Seeds or raisins to feed the birds
- A personalized bookmark from your favorite Santa
- Gift certificate for a cup of hot chocolate in a cafe.
- Library card (free for all children).
