Children's Culture Festival 2024

The theme of the Children's Culture Festival 2024 (April 23th – 28th) is democracy, which is appropriate since Iceland is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year!

Democracy is an important part of children's culture, and it is important that children adopt democratic thinking such as taking responsibility, being part of society, respecting different opinions and standing up for what they believe in.

Events

Grófin City Library:
Big dreams - small steps – April 23rd – 28th,  a participation exhibition based on the dreams of children in Melaskóli.
Adventure Palace - April 27th - 28th, adventurous program all weekend for children and families

Gerðuberg City Library:
Silly Suzy and Momo - April 24th at 2pm, the clowns give a new twist on Little Red Riding Hood.

Úlfarsárdal City Library:
Family disco - April 24 at 5pm
Pool disco - April 24 at 6pm
Storytime in pajamas - April 24 at 7pm
