BIG BANG music festival

Welcome to the BIG BANG Music Festival!

There will be plenty of life and excitement at Borgarbókasafnið Gerðuberg on the First Day of Summer. A diverse programme will be on offer as part of the BIG BANG Music Festival, which takes place at the music school Tónskóli Sigursveins (Hraunberg 2) and at Gerðuberg.

BIG BANG is a European music festival for young audiences, offering them the opportunity to experience a diverse and ambitious programme consisting of concerts, installations, and music-related workshops led by professional musicians.
Special emphasis is placed on performers and composers who see music-making as an adventure and seek creative ways to introduce music to children and share the stage with them.
