Plokk bingo | Week17
Let week 17 begin!
On Monday, April 20th, a fun Plokk Bingo (litter-picking bingo) challenge begins and runs until Friday, April 24th. Bingo cards can be collected at the library's front desk, and those who complete a card by picking up litter of all types can return it to a designated box at the Reykjavík City Library in Úlfarsárdalur.
One lucky participant will be named "Plokkari of the Reykjavík City Library in Úlfarsárdalur" and receive a special prize!
We encourage participants to come prepared with bags for litter, gloves, and even litter-picking tongs. Let’s join forces to keep our environment clean!
What is Week 17?
Week 17 is a global initiative by libraries to highlight the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Launched in Denmark in 2024, the project is a collaboration between libraries, individuals, and grassroots organizations, focusing on sustainability and social responsibility.
Join us – together, we create a better future!
