Imagined Futures | Creative Family Workshop
Saturday March 14th 2026
Can you picture what Iceland will look like in 100 years? Do you want to write or draw stories set in the future? Come to this creative workshop and learn how Þórey Mjallhvít imagined the story of Ormhildur, the popular TV series set in a distant future where the glaciers have melted and Iceland’s mythical creatures have come back to life.
Host: Þórey Mjalhvít
Practical details: This workshop is designed for children aged 7 to 10 but is open to all.
The future festival will take place from March 1st to March 14th 2026 in the Reykjavik City Library Grófin (downtown).
All events are free of charge and open to all. The full program can be found HERE.
