On this map of Iceland we have marked the settings or places of influence for various works of literature: “ordinary” novels, children's books and historical novels. Most are Icelandic but there are some foreign works thrown in.

Every pin represents a book. Click on the pin and you will get the the book's cover, a short description, and in some cases an excerpt or a link to a review.

Children's books are represented by a pink pin; historical novels by a green pin; and other works by a blue pin.

You can zoom in and out and more around the map using the buttons in the top left corner.
