Workshop | Creative Web Design
Do you have an idea for a website but don’t know where to start? Let’s make that dream come true!
Location: 5th floor
Katrín Hersisdóttir, graphic designer, and Elísa Björg Tryggvadóttir, programmer, offer a creative and fun workshop in web design where participants will work with their own ideas. It’s a two‑day course, with three hours of teaching each time
In the first part of the workshop, students will learn web design in Figma, and in the second part, key HTML/CSS concepts will be introduced, along with time dedicated to hands‑on work.
The purpose of the workshop is to give participants the confidence to take their first steps in web design with the right tools and encouragement. No idea is a bad idea — we encourage everyone to open their idea drawer and start exploring!
There are no age restrictions for this workshop, and our aim is to gather as diverse a group as possible, with special encouragement for women and queer individuals to participate.

Maximum number of participants: 12 – First come, first served!
Please note that everyone must bring their own laptop to the workshop.
