Freeshop | Textile in the Circular Economy
How can we buy less clothes, recycle more and extend the life of textiles in the circular economy?
Katrín María Káradóttir raises these questions and many more in her talk and tells us about the projects she has led in this area.
Katrín María, fashion designer and professor at The Iceland University of the Arts, has for over a decade researched the lifetime of textile in the circular economy. Katrín and her fashion design students have been working on a collaborative project along with the Red Cross on how they can upcycle textile and prevent waste. Katrin will share her knowledge on the subject and enlighten us with ways on how we can be more sustainable in this area.
