Borgar records an album | Recording studio (8-9 pm)
At the City Library in Úlfarsárdalur, there is a fully equipped recording studio where everyone is welcome to create and produce audio recordings. All you need is a library card, your creativity – and to book a session (see here).
Over the past four years, many talented musicians have made use of our studio. Now, visitors have the chance to experience a live recording. Musician Borgar will be working on his first album, recording vocals and saxophone on site.
Borgar is a creative artist who enjoys experimenting with different ideas, instruments, and musical styles. Although he has performed little in the Reykjavík area, he has been playing his music widely across the countryside over the past two years.
You can follow Borgar in the studio twice this Monday:
- 4–5 pm
- 8–9 pm
A great opportunity to get to know our recording studio and see how an album comes to life.
