Úlfarsárdalur City Library

Úlfarsárdalur City Library is an open space for everyone, where you can meet friends or just come to relax and hang out.

The library offers a wide range of books and other material, as well as access to computers, a sound studio, workshop space and work area. If you think there is something missing from the library, please let us know.

The City Library in Úlfarsárdalur is in the same building as a school, swimming pool and a sports center. The library is open during the opening hours of the swimming pool and you are welcome to use the library, as long as the lights are on.

There are two types of opening hours, service hours and open without service. When we are open without service, there is no staff in the library and the users help themselves using the self-service machines. The opening hours of the library go hand in hand with the opening hours of the swimming pool, the library opens early and closes late.

We are located in Úlfarsbraut 122-124. The building is on two floors; the library, meeting rooms, studio and swimming pool are on the upper floor, locker rooms and the school cafeteria are on the lower floor. The library and swimming pool are accessible from Dalskóli. We encourage our users to use environmentally friendly transportation when possible.
