What is Hringrásarsafnið?
Hringrásarsafnið is a collaboration project between the Reykjavik City Library and Munasafn RVK Tool Library. We have self-checkout systems in Grófin, Gerðuberg, Kringlan and Úlfarsárdalur. You can borrow all sorts of useful tools and items - the variety in the cupboards changes regularly.

How do I become a member? How much does a one-year membership cost?
Anyone can become a member of Hringrásarsafnið. Members are welcome to borrow as many items as they need, as often as they like.
Annual Membership Fee
For holders of a library card: ISK 5,000
For those who do not have a library card: ISK 7,000
For members of RVK Tool Library (Munasafnið): Free of charge
Please note: Hringrásarsafnið is a branch operated in cooperation with the RVK Tool Library (Munasafnið), but a subscription to Hringrásarsafnið does not include membership in the Tool Library. However, members of the Tool Library have access to the Hringrásarsafnið.
