READING-HACK | Creative Reading

Do you want to find the joy in reading?

Reading Hack | Creative Reading is a free workshop for children between 12 – 16 year old. We use your hobbies and everything that you enjoy to become better at reading and writing Icelandic.

Write song lyrics, make a comic, video or a podcast. Create something fun on the computer, write a play or, or, or... anything else you can think of! You are the boss with fantastic teachers to support you!

Who will teach you? Information about teachers coming soon.

We will meet up every Tuesday in Gerðuberg, have fun together, get to know other kids and have pizza or other snacks.

All backgrounds and nationalities are welcome, we will meet you with open arms.

Where: Reykjavik City Library Gerðuberg
Breiðholt, Gerðuberg 3-5, 111 Reykjavík

When:  Every Tuesday between 4pm-6pm

The workshop starts on February 27th and is on until June.

The project received a grant from the Development Fund for Immigration Issues. The project is a co-work between the Reykjavík City Library in Gerðuberg (Breiðholt neighbourhood) and The Tin Can Factory  language school.
