Writers Adrift | Readings and discussion
Join us for a presentation of Skáldreki/Writers Adrift collection of essays by foreign-born writers in Iceland. Ten authors (born in Brazil, Canada, India, Lebanon, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Venezuela, and the USA) share their personal perspective on living and writing in Iceland.
The event will take 2 hours. There will be a presentation from the editors: Natasha S. and Ewa Marcinek and a conversation with the authors, who will read excerpts of their essays.
“Take what you like the most. Our fresh perspective, the linguistic quirkiness, our fears and dreams, our stories. Skin. Bones. Meat. Fat. We are yours now.”
