Renovations at Grófarhús | Reduced Access

We would like to inform you that Grófin street is currently undergoing renovations beside the Reykjavík City Library at Tryggvagata 15. Due to the renovations, access is limited, and Tryggvagata is temporarily a dead-end street from Geirsgata. Visitors can park on Garðastræti and Vesturgata, and also in the parking garages on Mjóstræti and Hafnartorg.

Visitors can access the library entrance on foot by walking along Grófarhús from Tryggvagata or from the parking lot behind the building, and there is space for wheelchairs and strollers.

There are also designated parking spots for people with disabilities and other parking spots behind the Reykjavík Art Museum and Reykjavik City Library.
