Svavar Knútur, singer-songwriter

The singer-songwriter Svavar Knútur is well appreciated both for his own music and for his interpretations of classical Icelandic melodies. He intertwines singing and playing the guitar/ukulele with story-telling, in the vein of a true troubadour. His music is sincere and warm, but always contains a touch of humor. Svavar Knútur has performed at home and abroad, and has had great success.
