Flowers and Flavor | Sowing and Cultivation of Edible Plants and Summer Flowers
Now is the perfect time to start thinking about sowing for the summer!
Staff from the Reykjavík Botanic Garden will be at the library and offer practical advice on sowing and caring for summer flowers, as well as food and herb plants.
Sowing techniques and pricking out (transplanting seedlings) will be taught, along with guidance on fertilizing and everything that helps make your summer both colourful and delicious.
This is not a formal lecture; instead, people are encouraged to ask questions and chat about whatever they are curious about regarding cultivation.
Upcoming educational events hosted by the Botanic Garden will also be presented.
Everyone is warmly welcome.
