Information about the event
Summer Workshop | Adventure Textiles
Kids, are you ready to turn old clothes into a cool bag or single socks into a scary (or cute) monster?
In this workshop, we're going to open a huge mysterious chest, full of colorful fabric scraps, glittery buttons, old clothes and other fun stuff. We're not just crafting, we're giving things a new lease on life.
What are we going to do?
Make our own friends: Sew or glue together monsters, animals or even superheroes from socks and old clothes.
Design cool stuff: Make new things from old, like necklaces or decorate bags where we use textiles instead of paint.
Play with colors: Shred, knit and weave pieces of fabric together to create colorful works of art.
Be Eco-Heroes: Learn how we can reduce waste and save the planet by using what we have.
This will be full of fun, laughter and wild creativity. You don't need to know how to sew, we will help you find the best way to make your idea a reality.
All materials are provided, but if you have any old clothes at home that can be used in our magic, then you are welcome to bring them!
Come and show us what you can create!
Age: Children born in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Time: The workshop lasts for two days, June 25th-26th, 10:00-12:00.
Registration date will be announced later.
This event is a part of a project called make-a-thek which is funded by the EU.
