Tech girls workshop

This exciting class run by Skema (Háskólinn í Reykjavík) allows girls to learn basic programming and video game development with Scratch environment under the guidance of a female trainer. The history of programming will be reviewed with regards to the women who were pioneers in programming. Self-empowering exercises will be included since the goal is to build self-esteem and increase interest in technology, programming and science.  

The classes are for girls aged 7-10 and registration is required.
