Winter break | A-Z on comics

A–Z of Comics is a workshop for children aged 8–12 who want to learn more about comics and maybe even create their own.

Creating comics can feel like a complete mystery. Do you need to know how to draw? How long should a comic be? How do you turn an idea into a finished story? Atla Hrafney answers these questions and more in a workshop designed for young artists taking their first steps into the exciting world of comics.

Atla Hrafney is a comic creator and editor with over a decade of experience in the field. She worked as an editor for the digital publisher Hiveworks Comics from 2018 to 2025. Atla Hrafney was also the founder and chair of the Icelandic Comics Association for four years.
