Exhibition | I DARE! I CAN! I WILL!

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Women’s Day Off, an exhibition will open featuring original artworks and sketches from Linda Ólafsdóttir’s book I DARE! I CAN! I WANT! Illustrations from the book have been shown in New York and at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and the book has received numerous recognitions and has been nominated for the German Children’s Literature Award.

Linda Ólafsdóttir is both an author and illustrator. She has illustrated many books, including the classic Íslandsbók barnanna (The Children’s Book of Iceland), Reykjavík barnanna (The Children’s Reykjavík), Blíðfinn, The Dream Thief, and the book about Einar, Anna, and the museum that was forbidden to children. Linda regularly teaches courses, workshops, and masterclasses, and publishes her books both in Iceland and abroad. For her work, she has received numerous recognitions and awards.
