OKið | Upcycle workshop for 12 - 16 years

What is upcycling? Upcycling is giving old clothes a new life. You may bring old clothes and we will also provide some.

In this workshop we will learn how to transform old clothes into new ones. The participants will practice how to cut old items of clothing and then sew them together again. For example, how to turn two old sweaters into one new one or how to cut three t-shirts and then sewing them together, making a new t-shirt.

Margrét Helga Sesseljudóttir is a visual artist, who works with sculptures and textile. She holds an MA from the Iceland University of the Arts.
