Goosebumps at Úlfarsfell | Hike with Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and a concert with Snorri Helgason
In collaboration with the Queen of Icelandic Crime Stories, writer Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and the award-winning musician Snorri Helgason, the Reykjavík City Library in Úlfarsárdalur will embark on a chilling journey up to the fell of Úlfarsfell.
During the hike, Yrsa will give hikers serious goosebumps with her well-known storytelling skills. When the hikers reach the top, Snorri will keep up the mysterious atmosphere with his magical music.
Our meeting point will be at the parking lot by Úlfarsfell in Úlfarsárdalur (see map on the bottom of this page) at 5 pm but the hike takes about an hour. At around 6 pm Snorri’s concert will start and after that, around 6:30 pm we will hike back down the fell. The hike is expected to finish at 7:30 pm.
Afterwards, it is ideal to make the shivers go away at the hot tubs at swimming pool Dalslaug but it stays open until 10 pm.
Do not miss this horrible event!
Please note that Yrsa’s stories will be in Icelandic.
Everyone is welcome.
