Artótek | The Nail: Bláir bollar
Sólheimar Culture House will be showcasing the painting “Bláir bollar” by Auður Inga Ingvarsdóttir in November. The painting is provided by the Artótek, which is situated in Grófin Culture House.
The Nail is an art exhibition at Sólheimar where one art-piece will be showcased at any given time. This is the 7th exhibition in the series. The art can be bought or rented-to-own where one becomes its owner when the rent has reached the sales price. The buyer (or rentee) of the exhibited art can choose the next one, from the Artótek, to be showcased on the Nail.
Auður Inga Ingvarsdóttir is a versatile artist with a BA degree in ceramic design from the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. We encourage people to follow Inga on social media where one can see all the beautiful things that she creates:

Sigrún Jóna Kristjánsdóttir, a bookkeeper at Sólheimar, chose the painting for this exhibition: “Inga’s painting “Bláir bollar” is warm and cosy and makes you want a good cup of coffee!”
The painting can be rented for 4.000 kr. a month or bought for 110.000 kr.
