Armchair Travel: Walking Reykjavík in Contemporary Writing

Larissa Kyzer, translator, leads a literary walk through Reykjavík as it appears in contemporary Icelandic literature. The group will walk through the city and hear readings from both fiction and nonfiction in which Reykjavík plays a central role. Participants will gain insight into how authors paint vivid portraits of the city with words. The walk will be conducted in English.

The walk is a part of the program Evening Walks hosted by The Reykjavík City Library, The Reykjavík City Museum, The Reykjavík Art Museum and Reykjavik UNESCO City of Literature each summer.
