Exhibition | SystraSamSuða

SamSuða is the title of a row of exhibitions in the Reykjavik City Library Kringlan. SamSuða connects creative individuals, where an author or authors select works by an artist or various artists who have their artwork in the library‘s Artótek. The author (s) write(s) a text about each work and then they are showcased in an exhibition in Kringlan Culture house. 

The authors and sisters Júlía Margrét and Kamilla Einarsdóttir will select the artwork this time and write a text about each one. Due to Covid-19 restriction there will not be a formal opening but an event will be organized later on.

Sigurborg Stefánsdóttir

Artótek—the art centre in the main library, leases and sells Icelandic contemporary art. The lease period is from one to thirty-six months. Art pieces may be returned any time during the period and the lease price applied to a set selling price.
