Information about the event
Exhibition | Krummi
Location: 2nd floor, The Circle
The series of painted illustrations started as a project in an artist residency in Stöðvarfjörður in the East Fjords of Iceland. The whole illustrated story is told by a raven named Krummi. In the beginning of the story, the viewer sees Krummi arriving in a dark fjord alone in a tiny boat. He makes the decision to step out of the boat and take a path up to the mountains to find himself. Through the paintings, viewers follow Krummi’s emotions and struggles during his journey, from the darkest depths to a bright, fresh beginning.
