FULLY BOOKED Summer workshop | Stories that come to life
How do you create unforgettable fictional characters and a magical story world?
Illustrator and children´s book author Linda Ólafsdóttir give children guidance on how to bring life to their stories. In this workshop the participants will learn how to draw their own characters, create an environment for the story and then they learn how to piece it all together into a book.
Linda Ólafsdóttir has illustrated many books for children and families. Linda has a BFA degree in Art, MFA degree in illustration and teaching rights and teaches now in School of Arts in Reykjavík. She also spends her time drawing and writing in her studio in Laugardalur. Linda Ólafsdóttir has written the children´s book Play? and is the co-author of the books Reykjavík barnanna, Here is Iceland!, Draumaþjófurinn and Blíðfinnur.
