Information about the event
Fabrication | Christmas cards and gift tags
The first Thursday of December will be dedicated to Christmas card crafting at the library, where we will create warm Christmas cards and delightful gift tags. All materials will be provided – cardstock, decorative pens, hole punchers, and more. We will also recycle old books, giving the cards a unique and festive touch – after all, books and Christmas go hand in hand. Participants are also welcome to bring their own cutouts or pictures to decorate the cards with.
In addition, there will be an opportunity to take part in Amnesty International’s campaign “Write for Rights”, where people all over the world sign letters in support of individuals and groups who have suffered human rights abuses.
Fabrication is a series of events that take place on the first Thursday each month at the Reykjavík City Library in Úlfarsárdalur from 3.30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Let's have a cosy time, be creative and make something beautiful. The facilitators will bring ideas how we can reuse and reinvent with different materials. They will bring all the materials and tools you need for the fabrications.
For creative people of all ages. Children younger than 8 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
Free entrance and no registration needed.
