Have you been to Terra Gallina?

Linda the Pioneer Hen found a treasure map that belonged to her grandfather Captain Longlegs who mysteriously disappeared along with his parrot, Hananú. Pick up a passport at the next public library and join Linda the Pioneer Hen on an epic adventure.

All you need to do is read for 15 minutes a day until you reach a star. Then you can go to the library and get a stamp in your passport. The goal, of course, is to visit all the exciting places in Terra Gallina  and get a stamp for each star.

For every stamp, you get a raffle ticket and could win prizes. Who knows, luck might be on your side!

The Summer Reading material is in Icelandic, but the children are free to read in whatever language they want.
