Climate Café | Resilience and Activism
Take part in a conversation about resilience and activism with Lóa Hjálmtýsdóttir artist and activist, Hjálmtýr Heiðdal chairman of the association Iceland-Palestine, Helga Ögmundardóttir anthropology professor and activist, and Aðalbjörg Egilsdóttir activist from Young Environmentalist.
We will dive into what it is that each of us, and we as a society, needs in order to continue on the path of creating a fairer and more beautiful society for current and future generations.
Life is beautiful and hard at the same time! Let's hear from these veterans of activism and discuss ways towards resilience - create a conversation about what matters most to us - stand up for human rights, nature, and each other.
The discussion is lead by Marina Ermina and Marissa Pinal.
The Climate Café aims to foster community and increase resilience. We do this to resist despair, inaction, eco-anxiety, and other difficult emotions. At Climate Café events people learn from one another, share experiences and feelings, and partake in mutual aid and care.
