Vinyl Café II | Old and new
The vinyl record is both old and brand new, it is classic but in constant development. This time the Reykjavík City Library's Vinyl Café will be held in Grófin, the center of the library's vinyl record collection. The theme of the day will be: The oldest and the freshest.
Ingi Garðar Erlendsson (Herra Hljóðgeymir) comes for a visit with freshly polished 78 rpm gramophone records from his extensive collection and talks about the first Icelandic record releases. After that the needle will skip forward to records from 2022, hot from the vinyl press and crackling fresh.
