Fabrication | Zine making
Zines (i. smárit) are a fantastic and accessible way to present all kinds of topics. For example they can be used to tell a story, present information about a topic, or as a diary. Whatever you can think of can probably be explored in a zine! The possibilities are endless.
In this fabrication session we will explore a simple method of making zines from a single sheet of A4 paper. Paper and other tools will be provided.
Védís Huldudóttir, artist and specialist, will be on hand for instructions and guidance.
Fabrication events in Spöngin are open to all, and we encourage people of all ages to attend and take part.
Fabrication takes place in the Reykjavík City Library in Spöngin on the first Wednesday of every month, and in the Reykjavík City Library in Árbær on the second Thursday of every month.
The event is free of charge and there is no need to register.
